So this year my birthday landed on a Friday.....Friday the 13th. Everyone always thinks that Friday the 13th is such a big deal....I was born on a Friday the 13th, so really, it's a lucky day :o) In addition to landing right near the weekend, this happened to be a 3-day weekend! That was pretty cool. My day started out lovely, a sweet card from my hubby, work, lunch with my mom, sister and nephews, and then when I came home the HOUSE WAS CLEAN!! And the LAUNDRY WAS DONE! And the dog was washed! I had 3 whole days ahead of me and didn't HAVE to do anything!! Thanks Jon, you really are the best.
I've never been much on big birthday parties. This year was no exception. I did, however, for the first time, maybe ever, put in a special request with my lovely sister and sister-in-law. April makes AWESOME fondue so I thought it would be fun to have a fondue/birthday party. It couldn't have turned out better! The food was all SOOO good and I wouldn't have wanted to spend the evening with anyone other than the best family a girl could ask for, including 2 ridiculously cute nephews!! Thank you, April, Brian and Krista. It was my favorite birthday memory, I think, ever.
