A Weekend to Remember

In April, Jon and I spent a 3 day weekend in Tahoe with our wonderful friends, Adam and Stephanie. I had never been there, and I have to say, I love it! For Christmas Jon's parents got us a gift certificate for A Weekend to Remember....okay, I'll admit, I asked them for it :o) And then, I so coyly kindly tricked invited them to go with us. The weekend was busy non-stop from the time we got there on Friday evening. I want to say that guys were not really that into it, to begin with….but by the end of the 3 days I had Jon admitting that he would do it again. At the very end of the conference we were able to re-newed our marriage vows. I cried more than I did on our actually wedding day. I think it’s because with nearly 3 years (at that point) of being married, I could appreciate what it truly means to have such an amazing husband. It was awesome :o) This experience was a priceless investment in our marriage and I’m sooo glad that we were given this gift. We will definitely do this again…someday, lol.
