Another HUGE project...

We've been in our house 3 years now.  I can't believe it's 3 years already!  I came home from work one day a couple of weeks ago to this...

Oh.My.Goodness.  Yeah, that's my kitchen & dining room.  You can see the the living room has hardwood flooring (well, pergo-ish flooring).  When we bought this house we pretty much ripped everything out immediately.  The living room had original, disgusting carpet from the 60's.  Jon put down this beautiful floor almost right away.  Oh, and there use to be a wall here....where the plastic is.  We took down the wall to open up the space.  It's a huge room now....but, for the past 3 years I've had original 1960's gross linoleum and partial plywood floor in the kitchen area.  Well, not anymore!

Even my old kitchen cabinets look 10 times better!  Of course, this house is (and probably will always be...) a work in progress, but this is a HUGE step!  I'm so lucky that hubby is so handy :o)
