He graduated!

Back in December I wrote a mini blog about Jon graduating from the apprenticeship.  He was happy to be done, but didn't want a big deal made of it.  Well....it is such a big deal.  A couple of weeks ago I was honored to join my hubby at a beautiful graduation ceremony/banquet/reception at the Berkeley Claremont.  He was one in a class of 16 who are now State certified Journeyman Electricians.

He was presented with a diploma and several certificates.

 And he received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition.

Each of the 16 guys in his class (there were 3 classes graduating this day) received these certificates.  Jon, however, was one of only two to receive an award for perfect attendance for the entire 5 years in the apprenticeship!

The owner of the company he works for came to shake his hand and congratulate him.

 Needless to say I am a very lucky wife and so proud of my hubby.  He's the best.
