It all seems to be happening fast....that's for sure! When I first found out we were expecting I ordered
this book. It's sort of a journal/memory book with spaces to put photos of my belly, one for each of the 40 weeks of pregnancy. I thought it was cute...and it seemed like something I could keep up with minimal effort. Well...I've failed. I have photos for week 4, 5, 6, 7....and they pretty much all look the same (no surprise..). And then I skipped pictures for week 8, 9, 10, and 11. This week I've really felt like the little lime has grown! I've actually have 4 or 5 people ask if I was pregnant or how far along I was...so, apparently it's becoming evident!
Here I am at 4 weeks and then 12 weeks. What do you think?
There's a little something going on, that's for sure! I'm going to have to get Jon to start taking weekly pictures soon.
And apparently there is good reason for my swelling belly...the little lime has grown to the size of a plum!
As you move into the second trimester, baby shifts into the growth and maturation stage. After weeks in the critical development stage, almost all of baby's systems are fully formed.
According to some websites, the second trimester starts at 12 weeks, but some say 13 weeks....either way, I'm just about there! HELLO SECOND TRIMESTER!!
