BABY!
Haha...yep, there is definitely a real-live, squirming, kicking baby in my belly! The ultrasound tech would not even guess if it was a boy or girl. Bummer....that's okay though....as much as I would like to know, I have to admit that just seeing that baby JUMPING AROUND in there, and sucking it's thumb (!) was pretty much the coolest thing EVER...and at that point it didn't really matter that we won't even find out for another 5 or 6 weeks. I can't believe I can't feel it considering how much it's moving! It seriously looked like it was jumping off a springboard!
The baby is measuring exactly on schedule....12 weeks, 5 days. It is now about 2.559 inches! The heartbeat was 165bpm. All the measurements put it at low risk for having any genetic disorder, including Down's Syndrome. Yay! I couldn't have asked for a better result!
Oh, and I'm pretty sure it's got the Lemos nose....and definitely Jon's skinny neck :o)
I'm so glad you had a good ultrasound! Little Lemos is going to be adorable. You got some really good pictures for this early on! I still think it's a girl. Can't wait to find out!
