175 BPM!!

We heard it!  It was amazing!  And the doctor found it immediately!  The little one's heart is beating at a very strong 175 beats per minute!  It was pretty much the coolest thing I've ever heard.  Other than that the appointment was pretty boring....but I'm happy to know that each time I go in I'll get to hear that wonderful sound!  It's a weird thing to know that I've got two hearts beating inside my body.  Amazing.  Oh, and this has sparked the debate....boy or girl?  The wives tale says that a heart rate over 140 = girl.  I guess we'll have to wait a little longer to find out if it's pink bows and princess dresses or race cars and dump trucks.  :o)  For the record...I STILL think it's a boy.

On a less-exciting note, I went in for a throat culture this morning....I'm pretty sure I've got strep throat.  And oh how it's killing me.
